Held Tuesday, October 21, 2025, Cena Familiar offered a Dominican family dinner prepared and shared by artist Nazarinne Ahmed and her mother amid her solo exhibition In The House My Mother Built, a meditation on her maternal relationship.

In the same spirit of the exhibition, our family-style meal honors what her mother has provided and celebrates the ingredients and recipes Nazarinne grew up with at home.
