The first publication by COMPANION supports the third summer solstice exhibition Coordinates of Belonging as a physical archive of the featured 17 artists and land-based practitioners and their contributions to the gallery’s month-long residency at White River Farm. Sculpture, ceramic, textile, painting, video, and sound works are presented in verdant gardens and intimate residential spaces once home to a functional farmstead, redesigned by Danish-American landscape architect Jens Jensen in the 1920s, and currently under new stewardship as an artist and writers residency.
Designed by Commercial Artisan, the catalog collects the pieces of the exhibition into a simple, but elegant package bound together by a prong fastener.
