Join us Sunday, September 14th at 1pm for a papermaking workshop with Naturalist Kahli Brown. Learn about the history of handmade paper and its materials, tools, and processes. From pulp to product, you will create your own unique sheets of paper. All materials will be provided but participants are warmly welcome to bring in their own or harvest from the COMPANION yard — recyclable paper, flower petals, grass, seeds, and other small decorations can be added to the pulp for more personalized or sentimental paper.
Papermakers under the age of 18 should be registered and attend with a registered adult.
Please note: the paper needs to dry in place overnight and will not be ready to take home the same day. Participants can return to collect their finished paper at COMPANION on a later day.
Setting is intimate with room for 14 more. Hosts will be in touch with guests ahead of the Sunday workshop.
